“WOW air is a cheeky Icelandic low-cost airline that flies to Iceland from a number of European cities the whole year round and recently added North America to its increasing list of destinations.”

Overview

This summer Santander bought GE Money Bank’s business in the Nordics, and recently completed the merger. We have created a campaign to communicate this merger and make sure that it is the Santander brand that lives on in all Scandinavian markets.

Among the set goals (totals) were

Solution

We carefully planned everything from targeting to content creation for each week of the campaign beforehand. The ideology behind the content was to entertain with a hint of branding as opposed to pure branding.

Due to the nature of the setup of campaigns we were able to create two different approaches at any given time: prospecting and remarketing, ensuring both reach and the ability push fresh content towards interested users throughout the campaign period.

Results

The campaigns not only set new industry standards, breaking previous records, on YouTube in the Nordics but created a lasting experience and proved that the right mix of good execution and great content goes a long way.
